This virtual, immersive listening meditation represents a rite of passage; marking the end of Hungry Ghost month and an initiation into the unknown.

Borrowing from Kuan Yin's method of awakening through compassionate listening, sound will be the medium and guide by which to navigate through liminality, and 'silence' will be the vessel to hold whatever arises. Through this practice of embodied listening, we create the conditions for wholeness.

Headphones required. RSVP for Zoom link.

This event is reserved for those who self-identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Colour in response to the heightened needs of our communities at this time. There will be a follow-up Sound Baptism open to BIPOC & Allies, so stay tuned.

Inner Fields operates entirely on a gift economy and all our events are offered by dana (free will giving). Shahzad will receive 100% of the gifts received for this event. Venmo @InnerFieldsNYC with "Sound Baptism" in the notes.
