Inner Fields Sangha: Seeding Hope
Summer Sit with Listening Meditation
Garden of Hope, Bed-Stuy
392 Hancock St, Brooklyn
(between Marcus Garvey & Throop)
Sunday August 21, 2022
6 - 7.30pm
Through repeated events of mass upheaval, we are continually being asked to stretch the capacity of what can be sustainably held. Gathering in sangha, we can process what has been lost and what seeds of hope can be planted for our collective futures. Join us as we explore what hope looks like in this moment.
Hosted by Inner Fields Sangha, this special evening will include a listening meditation with music, a communal altar (bring a poem, a photo, a flower, a note), and an opportunity to practice with beloved community.
Formed by women of color and queer women, the Inner Fields Sangha is an inclusive, BIPOC-centered space for the shared practice of meditation. We welcome all to join us in enacting a space free from white supremacy, cis-heterosexism, ableism and all other forms of oppression and domination.
