About Us
Inner Fields is a BIPOC-led artist community dedicated to ecological wisdom. In collaboration with other artists, musicians, writers and meditation teachers, Inner Fields also hosts small, artistic gatherings in various, unique venues across the United States. These gatherings explore embodied, ecological consciousness through deep listening, drawing and meditation practices.
Since our 2020 in-person program has been paused until further notice (due to social distancing), we are offering weekly online gatherings steeped in community-building, wisdom practices and group inquiry. These gatherings are hosted by our peer-led, BIPOC collectives. All are invited to participate with us.

PHILOSOPHY
Gift Ecology
Through the creation of temporary, autonomous spaces, and a culture of wisdom and art, Inner Fields strives to offer another way of being, seeing and relating to the world. One where acts of generosity and creative empowerment disrupt the dominant culture of separation, in service of creating a more beautiful, thriving world.

Inner fields
About Us (draft)
Inner Fields is an experiential, collaborative project exploring the intersection of Buddhism, radical ecology, and artistic practice. Through a creative methodology grounded in gift economics and communal intimacy, Inner Fields designs public programs and curated events aimed at breaking down hierarchical and commodity-based forms of interaction, and building relationships steeped in ecological wisdom.
Initially founded in a studio apartment in Brooklyn, Inner Fields is now a collectivized organization of eight artists, writers, scholars, and educators, reflecting varying cultural and spiritual backgrounds, and is hosted in various unique sites across the United States. (Due to the global pandemic we are currently meeting online.)
We see our work as both an act of disruption, and a process of care. A cultural deconditioning based in generosity, deep listening, inquiry, participatory leadership, and life-long, reflective practice. In this way, we strive to offer another way of being, seeing, and relating to the world. One where all of our healing is in service to the healing of the planet.
