What are we practicing, remembering, protecting, honoring, and aligning ourselves with, as we move through and towards change? What are the collective patterns and systems that need to shift for the healing and protection of all beings, and our planet? Where are we taking refuge, and finding community at this time?

Listening and leaning into the wisdom from Alexis Pauline Gumbs’ book UNDROWNED: Black Feminist Lessons from Marine Mammals, and Gloria Anzaldúa’s book LIGHT IN THE DARK: Rewriting Identity, Spirituality, Reality, together we will explore questions, contemplations, and creative practices around the theme of COLLECTIVE IMAGINATION.

This course is offered over 4 sessions, across 8 weeks. For continuity and community building purposes, we encourage participants to commit to attending multiple sessions of this course as a form of dedicated practice.

Course dates and times:

February 8, February 22, March 8, March 22

(every other Tuesday)

4 - 6pm PST / 7 - 9pm EST

Via Zoom

All resources and texts will be provided to participants. Each session will include meditation and a group reading of the text. No previous knowledge or pre-reading of the texts is required.
